How it started

Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself. – Leo Tolstoy

Tolstoy's quotes is half way right for us, because Positivistic.com represents our shot at making the world a better, happier place, but is also the „material" representation so to speak, of us, its creators (Alex and Radu), trying to become better ourselves.

While we are no gurus in the mindfullness and personal development field, nor do we pretend to be, we are however among those who are constanly trying to learn, evolve, stay open and become better than what they used to be.

It all started with an idea which we believe creates win-win scenarios from many points of view, and to detail upon this, we regard Positivistic.com as: a) a medium where people will find optimism and inspiration; b) a tool thorugh which best-selling authors, entrepreneurs, nonconformists, visionaries, and innovators can determine positive change c) a site through which us, the people behind it, are doing what we love, something that allows us to put our best foot forward.

There is no greater thing you can do with your life and your work than follow your passions – in a way that serves the world and you. – Richard Branson

Positivistic.com is our experiment, our goal, our challange, our passion. We will improve along with it and stay committed to our mission of spreading positivistic content far and wide.

Radu Cretu

Radu Cretu

Radu is a problem solving junkie holding a degree in computers, who envisions a world where everybody earns a living by doing what they love.

Radu works from his "genius zone" whenever he has a cup of coffee close by and BBC Radio 1 turned on, with some of the skills under his belt being HTML/CSS, PHP and JavaScript.

He also has an eye for aesthetics and believes that "simplicity is the ultimate sophistication".

In his spare time Radu likes to travel, practice P90X and indulge in generous portions of baklava (a sweet dish with roots in the Turkish cuisine).
